Before starting, cut two lengths of fabric from DuPont™ Nomex® Essential Arc Arc Tooling and Regular Tooling for experimentation.
Use a small arc generator to generate an arc (voltage 3-7V, current ≈ 2A), ignite two fabrics separately, and see what happens?
The fabric of DuPont™ Nomex® Essential Arc Arc Tooling self-extinguishes when it leaves the arc.
After the ordinary tooling is ignited, the fabric continues to burn, resulting in molten dripping.
